Dear John,

Throughout the pandemic, essential workers have put everything on the line to keep our communities going–from those working in hospitals and clinics, to grocery stores, factories, warehouses, farms, and so many workplaces. They put their health and safety at risk for us, and it's why, together with partners from around the country, we launched the Always Essential campaign. We continue to fight for vaccine prioritization, fair wages, and long-term protections for the millions of working people suddenly deemed "essential" by the pandemic. We are lifting worker voices through the creation of Essential Worker Taskforces and passing Essential Workers Bills of Rights to ensure that workers have a say in decisions that impact them on the job.

But we can't ensure essential workers have what they need without your support.

Donate to Jobs With Justice today, and help us continue these fights for essential workers! With your support, you can help us fuel our movement and stand in solidarity with working people across the country. Please help us reach our goal of raising $5,000 by May 14!

While the designation "essential worker" seems relatively new, working people across sectors prove every day that they've always been essential and will be long after the pandemic ends. Right now, there is a bill awaiting a vote in the U.S. Senate that would offer crucial labor protections for working people.

The Protect the Right to Organize (PRO) Act would finally guarantee a working person's right to organize and prohibit businesses from engaging in bad behavior, like captive audience meetings, where employers discourage joining a union, or punishing workers for organizing or participating in actions like strikes.

If the Senate passes the PRO Act, working people will have the law on their side and the ability to rewrite the rules for organizing and increase collective bargaining rights, creating a more equitable and inclusive economy. The PRO Act could go a long way to ensuring essential workers have the basic protections they need to build better, healthier, and safer workplaces.

If we're going to create a more equitable world with stronger unions, workplace protections, and ways for working people to lead, we need your help! With your donation today accomplish so much on behalf of working people.

Join us!

In solidarity,
