Joe Biden has laid out a transformative agenda that has “exceeded expectations that progressives had,” according to Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.

As he mentioned during his first address to Congress, Biden's American Family Plan would expand access to education, reduce the cost of child care, and build on the American Rescue Plan to reduce child poverty by half.

Biden also laid out other priorities including climate action, gun control, huge investments in infrastructure, and raising the minimum wage.

There's a lot of change that can happen in the next few months, that is clear. But there's one thing standing in the way -- the GOP's favorite Jim Crow relic, the filibuster.

Democratic senators are torn over whether or not to abolish the filibuster, but if we want to pass the critical legislation needed to move forward from the damage of the last four years, we cannot leave the filibuster in place.

A Republican-led poll found that 58% of Democrats believe the filibuster results in “better laws” for the country. Today, we're conducting our own poll to see where the most engaged Democrats stand, and we need to hear your thoughts on this archaic practice:
