Today is our
2021 National Day of Prayer. Since 1952, Americans have joined together
on the first Thursday in May in prayer and meditation for our nation.
This special day of reflection is now 70 YEARS STRONG!
I love the theme
the National Day of Prayer Task Force chose this year: “LORD Pour Out
Your LOVE, LIFE, and LIBERTY.” Here is this year’s theme verse:

“Now
the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is
liberty.”

- 2 Corinthians 3:17

Today, I have thanked God for the
blessings in my life – my wonderful husband, children, and
grandchildren, the amazing life we’ve lived in western Minnesota, and
for being born and having the opportunity to step up and lead in the
greatest country in the world.
Please pray for our nation and our
leaders today. We face unprecedented challenges and we’re at a pivotal
moment in our nation’s history.
We must do ALL we can to defend our
religious freedom and faith-based traditions, which are under assault
from the emboldened left in our country.
May the Lord’s light guide and
comfort you, and guide our nation to better days ahead.
