friend, Today, at 11am EST we’ll be holding a press conference to discuss the aftermath of the insurrection at the Capitol and what our next steps will be. On January 6th of this year, violent rioters stormed the Capitol in DC, leaving five dead. These people were organized by Koch network-funded groups (including the Rule of Law Defense Fund, Turning Point Action, and Tea Party Patriots) and spurred on by 13 Koch-funded politicians who had vocally refused to confirm President Biden. It is four months later, and Charles Koch and his network continue to fund these organizations and politicians, despite the deadly consequences and impacts to our democracy. Watch live, streaming on both our Facebook account and our YouTube account, as we discuss the impact of the January 6th event, and the larger impact of Koch influence on our society. We will also be sharing our plans and demands moving forward. I'll be speaking alongside our Campus Organizer, Cassidy Pollard. We'll be joined by Alex Kotch, an investigative journalist at the Center for Media and Democracy, who has extensively and skillfully covered the Koch network. Patrick Diehl from Kochs Off Campus in Arizona and Jeremy Liskar from George Washington University will also be in attendance.
