“I’m just getting started.”

That’s what President Joe Biden said to America regarding his first 100 days of pushing the radical leftist agenda.

He’s just getting started, and so I’m fighting with the other Congressional Republican conservative leaders to keep him from doing further damage to our country.

I have been traveling across the Fifth District the past two weeks while Congress is out of session, and I can tell you without reservation that the Biden agenda is scaring most Virginians.

Across our district, the people are saying NO to open borders. NO to a gun grab. NO to economy-crushing taxes and regulations. NO to a federal takeover of our election system...and NO to being saddled with massive debt to pay for $6 trillion of reckless spending on liberal priorities.

You know that I campaigned against our mounting national debt. Continuing to borrow trillions of dollars every year, with no plans to ever pay it back, is nothing more than generational theft.

I am proud to be among those who are standing strong, and we’ve got to fight back harder than ever before to stop the Democrat machine.

And make no mistake, we are mortgaging our kids' future at an alarming rate. Right now, every man, woman and child in America owes more than $70,000 on our national credit card. That's $280,000 owed for a typical family of four.

The Democrats are bankrupting America -- morally and fiscally.

It is well past time to stop the spending spree that puts more power in the hands of Washington bureaucrats and the special interests who lobby the swamp at the expense of our financial future.

Last week, I introduced H.R. 2879, the Nickel Plan Act. This bill would begin to balance the federal budget by requiring a 5% reduction in spending every year for the next five years.

The Nickel Plan Act is another example of how my commitment to you has not changed. I will keep fighting for our common-sense conservative values -- like balancing the federal budget -- every day. I will stand up for your family to be safe, secure and free. And, I will not back down from anyone who wants to destroy the foundational principles that made this country great.
