It’s no secret that our healthcare system is broken. Virginians are being crushed by medical debt. Thousands are unable to afford even basic care when they get sick or injured. And this pandemic has only made things worse.

I’m tired of watching friends and family go broke trying to stay alive. I’m tired of seeing new GoFundMe’s for someone who is desperate for help paying their hospital bills. We can’t rely on the for-profit industry to do the right thing. We need universal healthcare coverage in Virginia, and we need it now.

The number one way to ensure that healthcare is a human right is to elect leaders who will make that slogan a reality.

I’ve pledged to be an outspoken Lt. Governor who will fight for what’s right, even when it’s the hard thing to do. I’ve proposed bold ideas to bring universal coverage to Virginia that is affordable and accessible for every last person. We can bring these bold ideas to life by winning this election on June 8th.
