Protecting Canadians: COVID-19 vaccines

Justin Trudeau and Sophie Grégoire Trudeau recently received their COVID-19 vaccine. Getting your shot is an important way that we can protect the ones we love and the people around us.

Since the beginning of this pandemic, our Liberal team has been working to do everything it takes to keep Canadians safe and supported. And as of today, Canada has received more than 16.8 million vaccine doses.

Canada’s vaccine rollout is continuing to accelerate this week as we work to protect the health of our communities and our loved ones.

Real action to fight climate change

Climate change is real, and it demands urgent action. While Erin O’Toole’s Conservatives voted to deny it, our Liberal government is making crucial progress to protect a clean environment and fight climate change.

That’s why we’re accelerating our work to fight climate change and create jobs for a cleaner future, including with Canada’s new, stronger target to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 40% to 45% from 2005 levels by 2030.

Climate action can’t wait

Canadians have waited a long time to see a serious plan from the Conservatives to address climate change, and Erin O’Toole has showed that Canadians will have to keep waiting.

Climate change is real, and Canadians expect urgent and comprehensive action to protect a clean environment and create jobs. That’s why Justin Trudeau and our Liberal team are moving forward with a Strengthened Climate Plan for a healthy environment and a healthy economy.
