Donald Trump is trying survive the Ukraine scandal by declaring war on
whistleblowers. We've got to stop him.

Here's the latest news: He attacked the White House whistleblower as a
“political hack” and openly suggested the death penalty for the
whistleblower's sources. His allies on Fox News are going all-out to smear
and intimidate the whistleblower and others who are thinking of coming
forward.

Now, just like Edward Snowden, the White House whistleblower has been
forced into hiding for personal safety.

Demand Progress has fought for whistleblower rights for years, and we need

The abuses of power detailed in the whistleblower complaint are textbook
examples of high crimes and misdemeanors. Trump and the Republicans know

Fox News and Republicans on Capitol Hill are attempting to undermine
public confidence in the whisteblower by alleging bogus "inconsistencies"
in the complaint.^1

The White House whistleblower knew that calling out Trump would trigger
this this barrage of attacks from the president of the United States. And
the whistleblower came forward anyway, risking loss of career, reputation,
and potentially even their freedom.

To help defend the White House whistleblower, we need to hold
Congressional Republicans and Trump himself accountable for these massive
