Florida legislature approves measure that curbs mail voting and use of drop boxes
— Washington Post
John, this is an outrageous move. The Florida legislature has passed a bill that makes it harder for Floridians to vote.
Not only does this bill make it much more difficult to vote by mail — as more than 40% of Floridians did in 2020 — but will disproportionately impact voters of color.
Lois knows that Republican efforts to suppress the vote are not only wrong but against the very fabric of our democracy. That’s why she helped the House pass the For the People Act, which is now in the Senate’s hands.
We’ve got to take a stand, John, and push this bill through to protect our elections. Will you join Lois by signing your name by midnight tomorrow to demand that the Senate passes the For the People Act? [[link removed]]

Governor DeSantis praised our 2020 election processes until Trump and his cronies started falsely complaining about election fraud. This new bill is only in existence to score political points and keep Democrats from winning.
The For the People Act can help curb these blatant suppression tactics — now we need your support to push it through.
Add your name now if you agree that the Senate must take immediate action to protect voting rights→ [[link removed]]
