Call for award nominations

 

 

Hi John,

I'm excited to announce that the National Immigration Forum's
Leading the Way
convening will take place from October 25 to October 28 this year. As
part of the event, we will honor leaders and organizations making their
community and our country a better place for immigrants with the
Forum's Keepers of the American Dream Award!

SHARE YOUR NOMINATIONS

Our honorees embody the spirit of immigrant achievement, contribute
significantly to the well-being of immigrants in the United States, and
are advocates in every sense of the word for the value of immigrants and
immigration to the nation. Past honorees include:

**Sister Norma Pimentel**, executive director, Catholic Charities of the
Rio Grande Valley

*

**Kumail Nanjiani & Emily V. Gordon**, executive producers of Little
America

*

**Postmates**

*

**Pati Jinich**, chef & TV host, PBS's "Pati's Mexican Table"

*

**Aleja "Lee" Plaza**, home caregiver, Filipino Worker Center, an
affiliate of the National Domestic Workers Alliance

**Chief Mark Prosser**, retired public safety director & chief of
police, Storm Lake, Iowa
