Hey John -- after Laura vetoed hateful and discriminatory legislation attempting to prevent transgender athletes from competing in girls' and women's sports, we knew the legislature would try to override her veto.

Thankfully, Kansas Republicans fell short of the votes needed to override Laura's veto and their efforts failed. But that doesn't mean Republicans in the state legislature will stop trying to pass more discriminatory legislation like this in the future.
