Hi John,
Asian Americans reported over 3,800 incidents of hate-related incidents between March 2020 to February 2021. And that was before the Atlanta spa shootings.
This violence and hate is not the result of one president or one pandemic. Which means it will take a lot more than one new president or one new law or one year out of the pandemic to address.
Elections will not solve all of society’s problems, but we believe that better, more reflective leadership is an important part of the solution.
Run for Something remains deeply committed to our efforts to elect anti-racist leaders who can make meaningful progress on combating structural racism against all communities who experience it, and can work to root out the toxic white supremacy and misogyny that’s embedded in our institutions at the most local level.
We are asking supporters to directly support 11 of the AAPI candidates we're working with in 2021 (so far). If you can, please chip in

to help diversify our leadership. 100% of your donation will go to their campaigns.
We must each do our part to support and protect the AAPI community against further attacks. We must finally pass laws to prevent gun violence. And we must decide to be a country where racism is neither tolerated nor brushed aside.
We cannot do that without building sustainable progressive power for the future.
John, your contribution could help elect diverse candidates around the country. Chip in now to help 11 RFS-endorsed AAPI candidates gain an edge in their campaigns right now.
Thank you,
Run for Something
