Friend — according to scientists, planting trees has “mind-blowing” potential to tackle the climate crisis and make communities healthier and more resilient.
Trees can lower temperatures in heavily-paved cities, filter air pollution, soak up storm water, host birds and bugs, and make neighborhoods look more beautiful and inviting. One tree can even remove one ton of carbon from the atmosphere during its lifetime.
By planting 1.2 trillion trees, Tom’s plan would remove 1.2 trillion tons of carbon. That’s ten years worth of global pollution!
Help us tackle the climate crisis by volunteering with Team Tom today.
