Dear John,

My name is Meron Tebeje, I'm Climate Justice Alliance’s new Frontline
Communications Coordinator and excited to share stories from the frontlines
with you all! I recently interviewed [3] Dom Hosack, a worker-owner with
Earth-Bound Building and CJA’s Regenerative Economy Fellow, to learn more
about the Earth-Bound story, its roots, and how more democratic,
non-extractive loan models like the Our Power Loan Fund are supporting our
move to a regenerative economy.

_“There is a real advantage in putting brainpower together, pooling
resources together, time together, and care of children together. It’s
not just based on financial incentive but the social and cultural incentive
of working together and building for ourselves.” — Dom Hosack_

Earth-Bound Building is a construction cooperative based in southern
Maryland that came together with a mission to provide ecological and
affordable construction services to Black, brown and low income farmers
with less access to resources.
