Liz Cheney's principled leadership and fight for the truth are in real and imminent jeopardy.

Republican Leader Kevin McCarthy and Republican Whip Steve Scalise are working to remove Liz Cheney as the chair of the Republican Conference as early as next week. ?Why? ?Because she dares to tell the truth about the damage done to our republic by the words and actions of Donald Trump following the 2020 election, and they want no part of it.

But if you recall, immediately following the January 6th attack on our Capitol, Kevin McCarthy and Liz Cheney BOTH condemned Donald Trump's role in the insurrection, one of the darkest days in our republic's history. ?It didn't take McCarthy long to change his tune, and he even went down to Mar-a-Lago to "kiss the ring." ?Meanwhile, Liz Cheney has remained consistent and principled; she's not afraid to the tell the truth, and she's not intimidated by the cult of personality enabling this un-American behavior. ?That makes her dangerous to any leader intent on feeding THE BIG LIE. ?

Talk about hypocrisy! ?The GOP claims "cancel culture" is one of the greatest threats to America, yet is willing to cancel Liz Cheney, a stalwart conservative, for telling the truth and refusing to back down despite threats to her career and safety. ?And our so-called leaders aren't just allowing it to happen, they're behind it all. ?We must call it out!

McCarthy and Scalise will hold a vote to throw Liz Cheney out next week, and hope to install in her place a person who voted to object to the electoral college votes just hours after the bloody, deadly insurrection. ?This is more than shameful, it's dangerous.
