Dear John,
Happy Mother’s Day! This week, we’re celebrating the moms, grandmothers, aunts, and mothering people in our lives — and the work they do for us every single day. But Mother’s Day serves as a reminder: Our work to protect LGBTQ children isn’t finished yet.
As we speak, LGBTQ kids in nearly 30 states across the country lack the protections they deserve to live a life free of discrimination. That’s why mothers are letting Congress know: It’s time to pass the Equality Act now.
JOIN OUR FIGHT: SIGN THE LETTER TODAY AND TELL CONGRESS THAT MOMS SUPPORT THE EQUALITY ACT
As mothers, we know, LGBTQ children are children — and they deserve the same care, dignity, and protections as every other kid. Lawmakers have the power to fight for our kids, and moms across the country are ready to get the job done.
Read our letter to Congress and add your name today to help secure real protections for our children. Let’s pass the Equality Act now.
Together,
Diana González & Joellyn Weingourt
