The special election for Pennsylvania's 22nd Senatorial District is heating up and Republican Lackawanna County Commissioner Chris Chermak needs YRs to help him across the finish line. The race is neck-and-neck, and Republicans have a real chance of expanding our majority in Harrisburg.

The Pennsylvania Young Republicans are helping Chris by deploying to Scranton May 8-9 to knock on doors and get out the vote to flip this State Senate seat. We hope you can join us in Scranton to knock on doors! If you are traveling from outside the area, your hotel room on Saturday is on us.

At this stage in the game, every vote counts. If you can't make it to Scranton but still want to help, sign up to make phone calls to voters in the 22nd District.

** Board Position Available: Finance Committee Chair

The New York Young Republican Club is on the look for a new Finance Committee Chairperson.

The Chairperson of this committee serves as a voting member of the Club’s Board of Governors. We are looking for someone with a passion for both conservative politics and a background in either finance, banking, accounting, or other related fields.

Applicants must be a current member of the Club in good standing and be willing to commit to at-least one board meeting and one Club event per month.

We are currently looking for Vice-Chairs for many of our committees, who will receive special discounts for working events and recognition on our website. In addition to Vice Chair positions, we are looking to build all of our committees in terms of members.
