WATCH: Tom Homan Calls Biden White House ‘Out of Control,’ Border Crisis ‘a Catastrophe’
Former ICE director warns the American people on the stakes of immigration policy
WASHINGTON—Tom Homan has dedicated his life to protecting the borders of the United States. So when he calls the current situation at the southern border a catastrophe, Americans need to pay attention. Homan, the former acting director of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and currently senior fellow at the Immigration Reform Law Institute (IRLI), gave his assessment of the crisis while joining members of Congress on a tour of the border area near McAllen, Texas, last month, as you may have seen on the news. “I’m down here at the Rio Grande Valley witnessing firsthand the catastrophe caused by the Biden administration,” Homan said. “I’ve seen administrations come and go, but the Biden administration is out of control.” Homan gave his message at the edge of the Rio Grande in a video produced by IRLI. See the full video HERE. Homan also explained the importance of IRLI in the fight against the anti-borders agenda that is causing extensive human suffering both at the border and throughout the United States. “This administration refuses to enforce the laws of this country,” he said. “As a matter of fact, they are actually violating the laws of this country. The Immigration Reform Law Institute has already been very instrumental in helping file lawsuits with several state attorneys general throughout the country. “So I’m asking you, please go to the Immigration Reform Law Institute. Help them do their job. Help them to complete their mission … They’ve already proven how successful they can be, and we can win this battle with your help.” Surveys published by numerous media outlets suggest that the vast majority of Americans disapprove of the Biden administration’s handling of the border crisis. The work IRLI does provides solutions and hope for a future where the rule of law is honored.
