Jim Jordan claims to be very concerned about the education of our school kids. He’s repeatedly criticized the Biden Administration about closed schools over the past few weeks and made another comment just the other day.

If Jordan actually cared about reopening schools, then he would have voted for the American Rescue Plan, which dedicated $170 billion to safely reopening schools for in-person learning.

Ohio schools are, in fact, open for in-person education, and have been for at least two months now. A number of schools in our district have been teaching in person since last August.

We know Jim Jordan doesn’t pay much attention to Ohio, but this is ridiculous. Jordan either doesn’t know our district’s schools are open or is too busy with publicity stunts to get himself on TV to focus on the actual issues we face.

If Jordan wants to be on camera so bad, he should get himself a job on cable news. We deserve a real representative, someone who will work on the real challenges for folks here: ending the pandemic and getting us back to normal, an economic recovery that doesn’t leave working families like mine behind and giving ordinary Americans a fair shot at a good life.

I’m tired of Jim whining about problems that have already been solved for the folks who pay his salary. Will you chip in $500, $250, $100, $50 or even just $25 today to help fire Jordan from Congress?
