The MN Senate GOP passed an atrocious voter ID bill on Monday that would disenfranchise countless Minnesotans, especially people of color, seniors, and young people. 

This is the third attack on voting rights we’ve faced from the MN Senate GOP in just over a month. Since Donald Trump paved the way with his “Big Lie,” Republicans have introduced more than 300 bills (!) to restrict voting rights in state legislatures across the country.

We’re setting up a dedicated Voter Rights Defense Fund because we can’t afford to lose this fight. Will you become a founding supporter today? We’re counting on at least 1,500 people to step up by the end of the week.

Let’s be clear: This is an assault on our democracy. Republicans know that they can’t win on the merits of their ideas, so they’re latching onto delusional conspiracy theories to rig the game in their favor.

It’s depraved, dangerous, and certainly not below MN GOP Senate Majority Leader Paul Gazelka, who is rumored to be planning a challenge to Governor Walz. We can’t let them get away with it.
