We’ve heard from hundreds of Green Americans excited to plant a garden this year. Are you one of them?
I hope so, because gardens have the power to change the world.
In fact, scientists agree that growing food with regenerative practices—going organic, keeping soil healthy, and recapturing carbon back into the ground—is key to reversing the climate crisis.
It doesn’t matter if your garden is as small as a window box of herbs or as large as a baseball field full of tomatoes, beans, kale, and zucchini. Either way, you’re thinking big!
That’s why I would like to invite you to be part of a growing group of thoughtful, committed members—working for change in the most efficient and effective way possible—and we'll send you your choice of a organic market tote or a garden sign made from recycled aluminum.
When you join our Sustainer Circle today by making a small monthly gift …
• You will be elevating Green America’s climate campaigns with reliable, year-round support. And just like your garden—no matter the size—all monthly gifts make a huge impact because it’s our collective action that is changing the world for good!
• Choose to receive your Green America publications digitally, on recycled paper, or both.
• And to thank you, we’ll send either a Climate Victory Gardens garden sign made from recycled aluminum or an organic cotton market tote!
I can’t think of a better time to make this small, but bold commitment to be part of reversing the climate crisis.
Climate Victory Gardens are inspired by the collective action of Americans taken during the WWII victory garden movement, when 20 million home gardeners produced 40% of the fresh fruit and veggies consumed in the U.S. at the time. Green America is bringing the victory garden back.
This time, it’s for the climate. CVGs are sequestering the carbon equivalent of driving 40 million miles!
And to help fund this amazing program and our other high-impact climate campaigns, we are looking for 50 new sustainers to join this week. Will you be one of them?
The anthropologist Margaret Mead once wrote: “Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world. Indeed, it’s the only thing that ever has.”
Thank you in advance for accepting my invitation to be part of this growing group—your passion makes our work possible.
