It doesn’t have to be this way. America doesn’t have to have a president that asks foreign countries to interfere in our elections on their behalf. America doesn’t have to have a president who locks children up in cages with little food, water, or medical care. 

America doesn’t have to have a president solely focused on enriching and protecting him or herself from legal action.

That’s why I’m emailing you today to make this promise to you — a Weld Administration will run our country just like I ran the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. 

My administration will use the same conservative principles that guided me as Governor to cut taxes 21 times, balance a state budget that historically had been grotesquely mismanaged, and pass massive reforms to our education and welfare systems.

And most importantly, my administration will be guided by the rule of law and what is in the best interest of the American people. Because at the end of the day, that’s who I’ll be elected to serve.

But to fulfill this promise, I’m going to need your help. 

We are 130 days away from the New Hampshire primary, and even closer to the Iowa caucuses. If we want to give the American people a real choice in this election, we need to make sure we’re making critical investments in those states right now.
