Yesterday, the Trump
administration opened another front in the war on immigrants by
ending asylum protection for vulnerable Central American families
attempting to find safety in the U.S.

These are not hardened criminals as Trump would have you
believe. They are fathers and mothers trying to create a better
life for their families, and risking everything to flee violent,
dictatorial regimes.

We cannot let this
heartless, un-American policy stand. Sign onto our emergency
petition demanding Trump reverse course and keep asylum

Under Trump’s new
decree, legitimate claims of asylum will go unheard and innocent
families will be sent back to the violence they fought so hard to
escape. We cannot allow this Administration to continue using
immigrants as pawns in their political shell game.

In Congress, we’re fighting Trump’s inhumane policy with
everything we’ve got, but we need your help to amplify our
message. Let’s return this country to the image of hope and
opportunity that has inspired so many around the world.
