Last week, the House passed legislation to make D.C. the 51st state! This exciting new legislation would grant fair representation for more than 700,000 citizens.
Not only that, but it would help secure our democratic majority.
So Mitch McConnell and his gang of Republicans have vowed to do everything in their power to CRUSH this bill.

For 200 years, the residents of D.C. have been DENIED equal representation in Congress and DENIED their full rights as citizens.
