I want to thank everyone who contributed to our campaign last month. Together, we reached our April fundraising goal.

As you know, asking for money is one of my least favorite aspects of my job. But these goals are about more than hitting an arbitrary number. 

Every dollar you give adds up in meaningful ways. It gives us the resources to build a strong campaign, connect with voters, and tell them about the important work Democrats and the Biden Administration are doing -- like the American Rescue Plan. 

We’re already seeing the plan’s positive impact:

• Putting money directly in families’ pockets and lifting over 6,000 Maryland children out of poverty
• Increasing nationwide vaccine distribution
• Sending resources to schools and child care providers
• Providing loans and grants to keep small businesses and restaurants open
• And so much more

And we’re just getting started. House Democrats are working with President Biden to make two bold plans for our country a reality:

AMERICAN JOBS PLAN: A once-in-a-generation investment in our country’s infrastructure to ensure everyone has access to safe drinking water and high-speed internet, create millions of jobs, and combat the climate crisis

AMERICAN FAMILIES PLAN: A robust plan to make sure every family has access to affordable and high-quality health care and education and continue the fight against child poverty we embarked on with the American Rescue Plan

We have big plans for the future of your country, and I can’t stress enough how crucial your support is for realizing them. Thank you again for all you do.
