[1]Women's March
John, the
right-wing media is attacking Vice President Kamala Harris.
Today, we're asking Women's Marchers like you to fight back.
Recently, the New York Post knowingly and intentionally published the
false claim that Kamala Harris was profiting off selling her children's
book to migrant detention centers. They claimed that a children's book
written by VP Harris was part of a so-called "welcome kit" for migrant
children. Spoiler alert: That's unequivocally false.
They knew this was a blatant lie,
John, but they published it anyway — and have
since done nothing to apologize for the racist and sexist attack against
our first woman of color Vice President.
That's why we're teaming up with Women's March partner UltraViolet to go
straight to the New York Post's funders to demand accountability: We're
calling on major corporations like Netflix, Bacardi, Mercedes Benz, Pop
TV, Bloomingdales, and The CW to pull their advertisements from this
far-right publication and denounce the Post's lies about Kamala Harris. We
need your help to get this done, so please add your name.

advertisers pull their ads and denounce these racist and sexist lies. We
know that if we come together to hit them where it hurts — their money —
we can make an important difference.

This racist and hateful lie by the New York Post went on to ignite a wave
of intentionally false claims about Vice President Harris, that were
quickly parroted by talking heads on Fox News and by the Republican
National Committee.
Yet the New York Post still has yet to take down the false and defamatory
article.
We know that if enough Women's Marchers sign on to pressure the
Post's major corporate advertisers to pull their funding and condemn these
blatant lies, that we can make an urgent and important difference along
with our progressive partners at UltraViolet. But we need as many people
on this team as possible to add their names to let these companies know
we've got our eyes on them.
[ [link removed] ]Sign now: Demand the New York Post's major advertisers pull their ads
and denounce these racist and sexist lies about Vice President Kamala
Harris.
Women's Marchers worked tirelessly to elect Kamala Harris as our first
woman of color Vice President — and now we need to have her back.
Thank you,
Women's March
P.S. This isn't the first time Women's Marchers have successfully made
progress by going after the funders of far-right politicians and news
outlets. We've seen actions like these work with enough signatures from
folks like you, John, [ [link removed] ]so
please take a moment to add your name to demand that the Post's major
advertisers pull their ads and denounce these lies about Vice President
Harris.
