The Biden administration wants to repeal the Hyde Amendment, despite 45 years' worth of bipartisan support. Hyde, which prevents your taxpayer dollars from funding abortions, is considered one of the most impactful policies in protecting human life in the womb, saving an estimated 2.4 million unborn lives.
President Biden's push to repeal Hyde is out of step with over 60 percent of Americans (including 35 percent of Democrats) who oppose taxpayer funding for abortions!
While most Americans support Hyde, the Left is trying to overturn bipartisan consensus, proving just how extreme this administration is on abortion.

As you are well aware, FRC is not only defending vulnerable unborn lives. We are always working on multiple fronts to defend faith, family, and freedom in public policy.
In February, the U.S. House of Representatives passed the Equality Act, which would overhaul our federal civil rights framework to mandate special privileges for sexual orientation and gender identity, expand abortion access, and gut religious liberty -- leaving many to suffer the consequences, including women, children, medical professionals, and people of faith.
The far-reaching implications of the so-called Equality Act include:
- Creating a legislative right to abortion and jeopardizing long-standing conscience laws that protect those opposed to abortion;
- Effectively obliterating Title IX by allowing biological males to compete in women's sports;
- Threatening women's safety and privacy by allowing biological males access to women's public bathrooms, locker rooms, showers, or even battered women's shelters;
- Politicizing the medical profession, to the detriment of patients and practitioners;
- Triggering an erosion of parental rights;
- Preventing houses of worship from ensuring their clergy and employees abide by their doctrines or beliefs;
- Forcing Christian colleges and universities that receive federal funding to comply with sexual orientation and gender identity requirements;
- And more.
The bill now moves to the U.S. Senate, where Democrats have control.
The Equality Act is the most egregious attack on religious freedom to ever come out of Congress. We must pray!
Pray that God would do whatever is necessary to ensure this legislation does not pass in the Senate. We must stand firm and make our voices heard.
