John,

On June 22nd, we have the opportunity to elect a leader that will contribute to a just recovery for New York and especially for Queens, which is why today I’m proud to endorse my friend Jimmy Van Bramer for Queens Borough President.

Jimmy is running because he knows that we can invest in a Green New Deal for Queens, affordable housing, and the infrastructure we need for the future.

This year we have a once-in-a-lifetime chance to fundamentally change the politics of Queens forever — and that’s why I wanted to reach out on Jimmy's behalf in his run for Queens Borough President. If you can chip in $15, every dollar goes to helping rebuild a more equitable and just future. [[link removed]]

Jimmy knows we can lay the path for a more resilient future as we fight for small business relief, affordable housing, the arts, and open streets. He knows we can sustain a care economy that supports all of us.

We need bold leadership with the vision and experience to help our city confront the challenges of today and tomorrow. And Jimmy has proven as a member of the City Council and as a community organizer, that he can move us towards a brighter Queens for all.

He ran against and beat the machine before, standing up for tenants, workers, artists, criminal justice reform, and survivors of sexual harassment and assault on City Council.

Jimmy is running for Queens Borough President to push policies and build a future that works for all of us, and I hope you’ll join me in supporting him here. [[link removed]]
