Conservatives hold a massive Supreme Court majority — with 6 of the 9 Justices nominated by Republican Presidents.

With so much conservative power, the court could stop Democratic priorities like addressing climate change, voting rights, and health care reform in their tracks. We are at risk of the Supreme Court halting all progress that Democrats hope to make.

This harsh reality results from mischievous GOP efforts to block the nomination of Merrick Garland and the rushed sham approval of Amy Coney Barrett. Now, the American people are stuck with a hyper-partisan, right-wing court.

We have to respond to this crisis. That’s why Democrats have introduced The Judiciary Act of 2021 — a bill that would add four seats to the Supreme Court and help take back the stolen judiciary from Republicans.
