When we talk about polarization and divisive behavior in Washington, Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell is near the top of the list of worst offenders. Yet, last week, what did he decide to complain about? President Biden's supposed lack of unity.

That's right, friend. Mitch McConnell actually had the nerve to get on the Senate floor and chastise President Biden for not working with Republicans.

Mitch McConnell has a long, well-documented history of wielding partisanship to his own ends.
+ He infamously declared his number one job at the beginning of the Obama administration was to make President Obama a “one-term president.”
+ He's called himself the Senate's Grim Reaper, using Senate procedures to kill bills that would improve the lives of all Americans.
+ He backtracked on the precedent HE HIMSELF SET when it came time to appoint Donad Trump's nominee to the court, Amy Coney Barrett, with mere weeks to go before the 2020 election.

Senator McConnell is a hypocrite of the worst kind.

And if we don't work hard enough to expand our Democratic Senate majority in 2022, he might win back the Senate and block all legislation for the remainder of Biden's time in office.

If Mitch McConnell becomes the Senate Majority Leader in 2022, we're going to see Biden's progressive agenda completely halted, more conservative judges striking down progressive laws, and endless gridlock. It will be mayhem.
