Next Tuesday, May 11th at 2 pm ET, NAS is hosting 1794: The Whiskey Rebellion and Sovereignty in the Early American Republic, as part of our running webinar series on American history. We'll discuss the details of the rebellion's causes and the response of the federal government in its infancy.
This event will feature Carol Berkin, Professor of History at Baruch College and CUNY Graduate Center; Thomas Slaughter, Arthur R. Miller Professor of History at the University of Rochester; and Steven Boyd, Professor of History at The University of Texas at San Antonio. The discussion will be moderated by NAS Director of Research David Randall.
