You haven’t signed the petition to ask Congress to support the PRO Act yet so I wanted to reach out again about this important bill that CWA members are working hard to pass.
The PRO Act will put power in the hands of workers and reverse decades of effort by CEOs and the 1% to try and make unions weaker.
The bill will protect strikers, make it easier for workers to join unions, prevent the misclassification of workers as independent contractors, deal a blow to “right-to-work” laws, and a lot more.
We have to make sure our elected leaders know that worker issues are hugely important to voters and we will hold them accountable if they don’t support legislation that makes it easier for us to join together so that we have more power to win better wages, benefits and working conditions.
