In a few days, Virginia Republicans will decide which right-wing extremist -- er, candidate -- they'll nominate for governor. Amanda “Trump-in-Heels” Chase has already made the pilgrimage to Mar-a-Lago in search of Donald Trump's endorsement.

Whether or not Senator Chase gets what she's looking for in Florida, we think it's a safe bet that the twice-impeached former president will throw his weight behind whichever candidate wins the GOP nomination -- provided they come and kiss the ring first.

Donald Trump, Amanda Chase, and all of the Republicans running for the GOP nomination for governor embody the exact opposite of our Commonwealth's values. If they win, they'll work furiously to roll back our progress on voting rights, criminal justice reform, equality, and more.
