At the end of 2020, we conducted its first-ever Writing Collectives Equity campaign. The funds raised during this campaign were earmarked to solicit and publish content from writers of color and Majority World contributors starting in 2021, as we believe that our continued progress as a church will especially come from learning from voices on the margins.

Thanks to contributions from many of you and the incredible leadership and generosity of our board of trustees, we were able to raise a sufficient fund from which we can create greater equity and opportunity for these writers, and a key part of utilizing these funds was to create our first cohort of Writing Fellows.
