Dear CCL supporter,

CCL's Catholic Action Team is getting excited about our upcoming Catholic Conference being held virtually on May 15th from 12-4 pm EST!   A very special recent addition to our speaker lineup is Ambassador Francis Rooney.  Known to many of you as Rep. Rooney, our Republican co-sponsor of the Energy Innovation and Carbon Dividend Act in the last Congress, Rep. Rooney served as Ambassador to the Holy See from 2005-2008.

Also speaking are Bishop John Stowe from the Diocese of Lexington KY, Bishop Robert McElroy from the Diocese of San Diego, and Jose Aguto from Catholic Climate Covenant!  We also have four informative breakout sessions planned on starting and supporting Creation Care Teams, reaching out to Catholic audiences, and obtaining endorsements from Catholic Institutions.  

We hope the day will inspire Catholics everywhere to become strong advocates for climate action and the Energy Innovation and Carbon Dividend Act and move our Catholic members of Congress to become climate champions and co-sponsors of the bill.
