Congressman Matt Gaetz is currently the subject of a federal criminal investigation for allegedly committing sex crimes with a minor and sex trafficking. These are extremely serious charges. The Department of Justice is overseeing that investigation -- the very same Department of Justice over which Congressman Gaetz has oversight in his role as a member of the House Judiciary Committee.

Congressman Gaetz is entitled to the presumption of innocence, but he is not entitled to sit on the House Judiciary Committee. Republican Leader Kevin McCarthy must remove Congressman Gaetz from the Committee immediately. (In the House, each party selects their own members for the various congressional committees.) Will you join me in calling on GOP Leader McCarthy to remove Congressman Gaetz from the Judiciary Committee?
