It's on, John: The Census Bureau has released apportionment data and states now know just how many seats in Congress they'll get for the next 10 years.

As The Hill notes, this will be the first nationwide redistricting since the Supreme Court's decision that federal courts have no jurisdiction over partisan gerrymanders. So with Republicans in full control of the process in 16 states that account for 161 House seats, they're sure to go all out to try and cement an unearned majority for the next decade.
Luckily, we're already in a much better position than we were the last time redistricting occurred. Thanks to support from people like you, the NDRC has helped to break Republican trifecta control of numerous states since we launched in early 2017. But our work isn't over just yet.
This year, we'll be pushing redistricting officials all over the country to draw the fairest maps possible. And when Republicans inevitably try to draw their way to more seats than the voters elect to give them, we’ll be ready to fight back.
