Dear John,

Our faith calls upon us to stand together against abuse and violence toward any community. In the face of harrowing tragedies like the Atlanta shooting which targeted the AAPI community, police violence that disproportionately affects people of color, and other forms of racism and bigotry, it is more important than ever for allies from all backgrounds and faiths to stand strong together. As Congresswoman Judy Chu put it:
In these last 10 days of Ramadan, we focus on being cleansed from the wrongs of this world. Repentance as a society is righting systemic wrongs and providing equity. That’s why we are standing with the AAPI and African American communities. When we stand together, we have boundless potential to move our country away from discrimination and hate.

We have exciting news! One of our donors is doing a dollar for dollar donation match for all donations up to $25,000. During these last 10 days of Ramadan. Will you donate $150 today to DOUBLE your givings?

Former US Secretary of Labor and Former Democratic National Committee Chair Tom Perez described our work as:

Join us as we build bridges between communities and work for a more inclusive and equitable country where all are valued, respected, and protected from violence and discrimination.

During our Ramadan fundraising campaign, our goal is to raise over $900,000 with your zakat-eligible donations. We want to reach our goal with your help! Can you get us there by donating $150 today? Remember, every dollar donated will be matched by one of our amazing donors!
