Dear John,
You know I don’t reach out and ask for help unless I really need it. With 3 days to go until early voting begins, I need your help mobilizing voters who support our shared vision for South Bend’s next chapter.
Earlier this week my opponent said during the debate that he doesn’t believe in the existence of systemic racism. And when asked to clarify his position, he doubled down and claimed that we have “by far, the least racist country in the world”. His refusal to try and understand the concerns of those he seeks to serve should be disqualifying. Unfortunately, we’ve seen these comments only rally his supporters further.
We cannot move forward together unless we’re able to confront hard truths, however painful, together. Please help me mobilize our supporters to send a strong message that South Bend stands for taking deliberate and intentional actions to make our city equitable and fair for everyone.
You can help by
-
Voting early and encouraging your friends and family to vote early too. The more people vote early, the more efficiently we can use our shared time and resources to reach out to other potential voters.
-
Volunteering to knock doors or make calls. You can sign up by emailing my Outreach Director, Brady, by clicking the volunteer button below.
-
Chipping in whatever you can - $10, $25, $100, or more. Every dollar helps us get our message out and lets the community know what we stand for. Donations can be made online here or clicking the donate button below.
Thank you for everything you have done for my campaign and the city we all love. I look forward to making it official in 31 days and continuing to move South Bend forward together with you.
Onward!
