Action Alert Success: Indigenous Rights Defenders Freed

Thanks to everyone who responded to our action alert in April when two Indigenous rights defenders with the Human Rights Center Fray Bartolomé de Las Casas (Frayba), a Grassroots International grantee and ally, were detained. The collective global outcry worked and they were released! Let’s remain vigilant in the face of human rights violations in Mexico and beyond.

On March 30th, Palestinian Land Day, we kicked off our Palestine solidarity social media campaign, which is ongoing through May 15th (Nakba Day the date Palestinians commemorate the colonization of their lands). Join us tomorrow at 11:30 AM Eastern to uplift our partners Baladna Association for Arab Youth and Colectivo Ilé.
