Dear John,

The Republican open-borders crowd is mobilizing to give Pres. Biden a win on his top legislative priority: the worst immigration bill ever. Rallying around Biden's amnesty are The U.S. Chamber of Commerce, Americans for Prosperity, ... and even George W. Bush?

We URGENTLY need your help to counter this mobilization. This is an existential battle. Nothing contained in the legislation proposed by Pres. Biden nor the bills working their way through Congress makes even a pretense of combatting future illegal immigration through meaningful enforcement provisions.

In fact, Pres. Biden is doing all he can to hamper enforcement in spite of the laws already on the books. Passing this legislation would grant citizenship to millions of illegal aliens, and set an irreversible precedent that we welcome and will reward law-breakers with future amnesties.

We have to stop this assault on sensible immigration control. Please help.

The betrayal of America represented by this push for amnesty is breathtaking. When running for President, Bush campaigned AGAINST amnesty. For example:

"I don't believe we ought to have amnesty. I don't think we ought to reward illegal behavior. There are plenty of people standing in line to become a citizen. And we ought not to crowd these people ahead of them in line. If they want to become a citizen, they can stand in line, too."

But once re-elected in 2004, Bush called for a nearly universal amnesty.

Bush left office the least popular president in modern times, with the economy in shambles in no small part due to massive, uncontrolled immigration's effect on workforce participation rate and wage stagnation. Nevertheless, the former President is now trying to provide cover for the most radical immigration agenda ever proposed.

Of course, the former president never admitted supporting "amnesty." It's just a "pathway to citizenship." Sound familiar? Pres. Biden would usher illegal aliens to the front of the line. He's already cancelled the fines for people who overstay their visas. Think about that for a moment. They call it an amnesty when the library cancels your overdue charges for the book you borrowed. You don't get to keep the book! You certainly don't get to hand out free books to your relatives!

Let's demand politicians stop the nonsense about migrant workers "coming on board" and "paying their fair share of taxes." Millions of illegal aliens qualify for certain tax credits. Forget about the costs of education, infrastructure, paying benefits to Americans put out of work, lost wages, financial aid to their children, subsidized healthcare... Many illegal aliens actually get more money back from the I.R.S. than they pay in taxes!

Please don't let all this seem hopeless. We can stop this

. . . . We stopped the vast Senate Gang of Eight bill in 2013-14.

. . . . We stopped a large amnesty backed by then-Speaker Paul Ryan.

. . . . And we can and will stop Pres. Biden--with your help.

It's not going to be easy or cheap. And it's not just going to go away on its own. We need our supporters to come through for us in a big way.

Will you? This is our biggest amnesty threat in more than a decade. Will you give your largest donation in years?
