FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE MONDAY, MAY 3, 2021 ICYMI: KELLY LOEFFLER JOINS MARTHA ZOLLER'S RADIO SHOW ATLANTA – In case you missed it, Greater Georgia Chairwoman Kelly Loeffler joined radio show host Martha Zoller on her WDUN morning show today to discuss Greater Georgia's mission to register more voters, engage more communities, and restore election integrity. Kelly also talked about the organization's recent push to hold Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger accountable for the rapid, inconsistent changes he made to potentially benefit his own self-interests leading up to the 2020 elections, which resulted in a loss of confidence in the process. Click HERE or the photo below to listen to the full interview: As Kelly said: "I sent a letter to Attorney General Carr asking him to investigate Secretary Raffensperger for potential conflicts of interest ... This is not about the outcome of our election in 2020 or 2021. It's to restore confidence and hold our top elections official accountable ... We've seen sweeping, unprecedented changes made to our elections in 2020, much of it related to the pandemic, but there was also a consent decree signed unbeknownst to the General Assembly. It came out last month that Secretary Raffensperger took $5.5 million from Big Tech, on top of the money that went to the counties. He conducted a mass-mailing of unsolicited absentee ballot request forms, and the list goes on, culminating in orchestrating the recording and release of a call with President Trump just two days before David Perdue and my Senate runoff, which really demoralized voters and served to suppress voters to the tune of about 339,000 Republicans who voted in November, who did not come back out in January. So, I want to know what happened, and if nothing happened, then we should reassure voters that we've looked at it... "Georgians just want to know [the process] is fair. They want to know that their vote is going to be treated and scrutinized in the same way as the next person's vote, and that's why I applauded the Election Integrity Act (S.B. 202) that was passed and signed into law by Governor Kemp, and that is a tremendous starting point for us to approach the upcoming elections next year... "No one's above the law, even our top elections official, and that's really why I started Greater Georgia, it's to make sure we're addressing all of this well in advance of an election, that we're getting our folks registered, that we're keeping them engaged or bringing new folks into the party, and that we have election integrity." ### Media Contact: [email protected] Paid for by Greater Georgia Action, Inc.
