ATC's Broadway Vaccination Site


Now Accepting Appointments

The Actors Fund can now help schedule COVID-19 vaccine appointments at ATC's Broadway Vaccination Site (ATC Vaccination Times Square, located at 47th Street & 7th Avenue), for members of the performing arts & entertainment community in the New York City area.

The Career Center

The Career Center offers a comprehensive suite of online programs and services that help entertainment industry and performing arts professionals to identify and find sideline work and discover new careers outside the industry.

Get started by attending The Career Center Orientation (Monday or Thursday* session) to enroll in the career services offered. Once you've done that, you can attend workshops including Linkedin Suite for Entertainment and Resume Writing Workshop.

Financial Wellness workshops and seminars increase your financial knowledge and help you learn the tools and skills to support lifelong financial health and stability.

Health & Health Insurance

The Actors Fund offers personalized health insurance counseling and enrollment support, referrals to health care resources, and seminars on how to care for yourself.

You can also join us for Welcome to Medicare and Every Artist Insured: Getting Affordable Coverage in NY/NJ During COVID-19.

The Friedman Health Center for the Performing Arts, our primary and specialty care health center, is open for appointments. The Health Center accepts most insurance plans, including commercial insurances, several Marketplace/Exchange plans, Medicare and Workers’ Compensation. Call 212.930.7300 for an appointment.

Health Insurance HQ provides an update on the health care landscape from the expert team at The Actors Fund’s Artists Health Insurance Resource Center (AHIRC). In this month's issue, learn about some updates to the American Rescue Plan Act which will lower health insurance premiums for our community.

Housing

The Actors Fund operates several affordable housing residences across the country, and also offers resources to help you learn more about affordable housing opportunities and other housing-related issues you may encounter.

The waitlist to live at The Dorothy Ross Friedman Residence is shorter than ever. Learn more about eligibility and how to apply for low-income, shared housing in the heart of Manhattan.

Our Housing Connect 2.0 Tutorial will help applicants navigate New York City’s latest housing lottery system, understand changes to the process and show you how to set up a new profile. If you haven't already, we recommend that you participate in our Applying for Affordable Housing webinar as a prerequisite.

With respect and understanding, our professional social workers offer our community help to address a wide array of challenges via online and phone counseling and support groups, education and practical help—completely free of charge.

Notify NYC is a new program from the New York City Office of Emergency Management designed to keep you up to date about emergencies and services that impact all New Yorkers, whether it’s at home, work or in the community.
