We’ll have Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer and Congresswoman Nikema Williams as our special guests, and we can’t wait to celebrate all of our hard work electing the first woman Vice President in 2020.

Gov. Whitmer has been a strong, progressive leader for women everywhere, and she wasn’t afraid to stand up to President Trump. She’s faced right-wing extremism in her own state and has shown us all what it means to lead with dignity.

Congresswoman Nikema Williams serves Georgia’s 5th district following the admirable John Lewis, and also serves as chair of the Georgia Democratic Party. With her hard work and the organizing power built in Georgia, she helped flip the state blue and elect two Democratic senators to represent her state.
