In a year marked by a pandemic that has killed millions, CVS Health
quietly made a $5 million donation to the number one dark-money lobbying
group fighting Medicare for All.^1

[ [link removed] ]Headline: CVS HEALTH QUIETLY MADE MASSIVE DONATION TO DARK-MONEY GROUP
FIGHTING ACCESS TO CARE

The health care giant, which owns Aetna health insurance and operates
thousands of pharmacies, is now the largest-known donor to the Partnership
for America’s Health Care Future, or PAHCF.

We need to hold CVS accountable and spread the word far and wide about
their efforts to undermine Medicare for All. With enough pressure, we can
force them to respond, put their reputation at risk, and set an example
for what other companies can expect if they choose to put their profits
over patients.

[ [link removed] ]Will you join our Twitter storm today to call out CVS and demand that
they put patients over profits and stop undermining health care reform?

Hey @CVSHealth, this is not a good look.

We see you donating $5 million to fight Medicare for All and healthcare
justice. It won’t work. Stop putting profits over patients in the middle
of a pandemic. #PatientsOverProfits

PAHCF is the #1 dark money lobbying group against healthcare reform funded
by big pharma and insurance executives who want to protect the billions in
profit they receive each year from our illnesses.

You may have seen some of their deceptive commercials:

CVS Health knows that under Medicare for All, they won’t be able to price
gouge patients on medications, and Aetna (which they own) won’t be able to
deny coverage or surprise patients with massive medical bills.

That’s why they’ve spent $5 million so far to fight our movement, but it
won’t work. Not only are we fighting corporations like CVS who are funding
PAHCF, we’re also calling on politicians at all levels to take our
[ [link removed] ]Patients Over Profits pledge to reject campaign contributions from
PAHCF.

Pharma and insurance money is corrupting our political system and blocking
the transition to a single-payer health care system we need. But together
we can stop the flow of funds and demand that our leaders represent us,
not corporations.

help spread the word and hold them accountable.

With determination,

Nurses' Campaign to Win Medicare for All
