The Chamber and George Mason University are partnering to present this free informational webinar. The region of Stuttgart, Germany, is a global pioneer in sustainable development and stands out as a model for its partnerships among local governments, businesses, chambers of commerce and crafts as well as education institutions that have integrated environmental, economic and social policies towards an economically prosperous, climate-resilient and socially inclusive region.

Michael Roessler, Deputy Director of Handwerk International, will discuss the ways that the businesses and commercial operations of the Stuttgart region profitably incorporate greenhouse gas emissions reductions, waste minimization, or renewable energy targets into their business plans.

Individuals 16 years and older may directly schedule an appointment to receive a free COVID-19 vaccine at Arlington County public health clinics.

Individuals can directly reserve a slot at one of Arlington’s public health clinics by visiting the County website – or by searching Vaccinefinder.org for appointments at nearby locations.

The Chamber supported two community funding project proposals by the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority (MWAA). The projects for consideration will allow for purchasing of electric vehicles, supporting environmental stewardship at Washington Ronald Reagan National and Dulles International Airports.
