A week from tomorrow, the Senate Rules Committee will hold a “markup” for
the For the People Act, where politicians could weaken the bill, or keep
critical parts intact.

Getting the Act to markup is a vital step towards passing it — but we
can’t let politicians use this as an opportunity to weaken the bill.
