April 2021 Update

John,

I wanted to give you an update on some recent polling. 75% of voters see the border situation as a crisis or major problem. Biden's disapproval ratings are increasing.

These numbers are important to watch as we continue to target Democrat seats to flip to Republican in 2022, including seats right here in Pennsylvania. We must retake control of the House and put a check on the liberal Democrat's policies.

Census data shows what we expected, Pennsylvania will lose a Congressional seat, while states like Texas will see gains. This is a hot topic to follow in the upcoming months as state House, Senate and Congressional districts are redrawn. We know what happened in 2018. We can't allow the liberal Pennsylvania Supreme Court to gerrymander again.

This month, we also launched our online #TeamSmucker store so that you can purchase products to show your support for our campaign and our values. Don't forget to check out our new products and Resist Socialism gear!

Thank you for your continued support,

Rep. Lloyd Smucker, R-Penn on Joe Biden's first 100 days, says this has resulted in "a lot of damaging policies". "He obviously talked about unity, but this has been the most bitter partisanship that I've seen since I've been elected office, over the last 100 days," he explained.

An Update from Washington
  • I introduced a bill to provide small businesses tax extension for the estimated tax payments for the first quarter of 2021 to align with the deadline for individuals to file their 2020 federal income tax returns.
  • I will continue to stand up for the unborn and once again signed the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act discharge petition to bring the bill to the floor for a vote. This month, I also reintroduced the Improving Adoption Outcomes and Affordability Act to award grants to state or local governments, public or private adoption agencies, and faith-based organizations to enhance medical support services and mental health resources for mothers considering adoption.
  • I reintroduced the Invest in American Railroads Act to make critical improvements to the Railroad Rehabilitation and Improvement Financing Program (RRIF) and investment in passenger, short line and regional rail. This Act will enable states, local governments, and private groups to use these RRIF funds to upgrade existing infrastructure and develop new lines.

We need to reign in this out-of-control Governor and restore the checks and balance system to give a voice to the people. Share this graphic on social media to remind your friends to vote YES on the constitutional amendments on the ballot on Tuesday, May 18th.
The Biden Administration has created a humanitarian crisis and a public health crisis at the southern border through massive security rollbacks with no plan to address growing concerns.
