They said it, John! With the release of the new apportionment numbers (how many House of Representatives seats each state gets), the battle for redistricting is officially ON. Here's what you can expect over the next few months:
★ Republicans will attempt to gerrymander in state after state to "secure a decade of power" for themselves.
★ The NDRC will work to stop them by engaging the public, educating communities, demanding a fair and transparent process, and holding politicians accountable.
★ On top of that, we'll support plaintiffs in lawsuits to protect states' redistricting processes from manipulation and fight for fair results.
