John, thank you to
everyone who signed my birthday card! Yesterday was a beautiful
day thanks to all of you — I was so delighted when my team shared
the card and your kind words with me.

Serving as Chair of the Connecticut Democratic Party is the honor
of a lifetime, and I’m grateful to each and every one of you who
makes the important work that we do possible.

Today is actually CT Attorney General William Tong’s birthday,
and in honor of that I’d like to discuss the upcoming launch of
the CT Democratic Party’s AAPI Caucus later this month.

Attorney General Tong is the first Asian American elected to
statewide office in Connecticut. Since he assumed office in 2019
he’s been a staunch defender of consumer rights, a leader in the
fight to prevent gun violence, and a fierce advocate for lower
prescription drug prices.

He has led coalitions of state Attorneys General to hold the
pharmaceutical industry accountable to the people, end robocalls,
defend the United States Postal Service, and so much more.

John, now more than
ever it’s critical that we elevate Asian American Pacific
Islander issues and the voices of AAPI elected officials, and
that’s precisely what the CT Dems AAPI Caucus will do.

In honor of Attorney General Tong’s birthday, will you chip in
$20
to help the Connecticut Democratic Party continue organizing
initiatives like the AAPI Caucus and supporting Democratic
candidates in upcoming elections? (

Municipal elections are happening in five Connecticut towns
tomorrow. In addition to preparing for this year’s elections and
organizing our LGBTQ, AAPI, and Women’s Caucuses, we’re getting
ready for next year’s midterm elections where Senator Blumenthal,
the entire CT Congressional delegation, and the Governor’s seat
are up for election.

Your support of the Connecticut Democratic Party helps us build
the infrastructure necessary to continue this important work — if
you can, please chip in now in honor of AG Tong’s birthday to
help us organize to win in these upcoming elections. (
